Gina Finsilver Founder, Designer for a Day
The unique combination
of Interior Design and Florida luxury Realestate experience comes
naturally to Gina Finsilver, a native
of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Gina’s father
was an active Real Estate Broker specializing
in Commercial properties and later played
a major role in developing condominium
communities in West Ft. Lauderdale, known
as Tamarac. Gina’s mother and sister
teamed up to run their own Interior Design
firm, decorating model homes, Florida luxury homes, restaurants,
hotels and privately owned estates. Our
family is full of highly talented artists
and designers; it’s in our blood!
Gina began her early career in Washington,
D.C. where she worked for the U.S. Senate
Budget Committee and various Congressmen
and committees in the House of Representatives.
It was in 1987 upon returning to home
to Florida that she received her Florida Real
Estate license and went to work for a
small firm on Federal Highway in Boca
Raton selling waterfront homes. Gina
immediately earned the trust of the buyers
she worked with and understood their
need for a good listener and a real estate
agent with a lot of patience. Gina’s
sales record exceeded her expectations
and she always ended each year among
the top producers in the office.
‘Showing homes can be very interesting
and after you’ve done it a while you
realize there is an art to it’ says Gina.
‘Each
Florida luxury home has it’s own flow and there
is a good, bad and best way to
show homes to peak a Buyer’s
interest and get the most out
of a showing. I guess it was
on one of these showings that
I began to notice how beautifully
some homes showed and others…just
didn’t. I would imagine that
if I owned this Florida luxury home I’d put
the sofa here, move this and
that…and so on. Thus began my
quasi Florida real-estate & decorating
career assisting friends and homeowners
ready their homes to sell. This practice
formulated into a proven process of steps
that lead to an attractive, clutter-free
home that buyers want to buy.’

Gina lives in Boca Raton with her husband,
Stuart and their 2 dogs Giovanni and
Giorgio. They have 3 sons, Jeff, Brad
and Ricky. |
